It is a privilege to serve as the principal of Hillcrest High School. I have been part of the Alvord Unified School District since 2002, and this community has become an important part of both my professional and personal life. My family and I are proud to call this community home, and our connection to Alvord is especially meaningful because members of my family have attended district schools, including Hillcrest.

Hillcrest is an exceptional school with talented students, dedicated staff, and a strong tradition of excellence. Our students consistently achieve at high levels in the classroom, and Hillcrest has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the nation’s Best High Schools. Beyond academics, our students excel in athletics, the visual and performing arts, and career technical education. Our athletic programs earned seven league championships last year, including a CIF championship in football, while our award-winning VAPA and CTE programs continue to provide students with opportunities to develop their talents, explore future careers, and prepare for life after graduation.

It is an honor to lead a school that offers students so many opportunities to learn, grow, compete, create, and succeed. I am incredibly proud of our students, staff, families, and the entire Hillcrest community.

I am proud to begin my second year as an assistant principal at Hillcrest High School and my seventh year serving students and families in the Alvord Unified School District. I truly enjoy working with students, building relationships, and supporting them as they work toward their academic and personal goals.

At Hillcrest, I oversee attendance, scheduling, counseling, AP testing, AVID, and the senior class. I am committed to helping students stay connected, take advantage of available opportunities, and successfully prepare for graduation and life after high school.

I am excited to join the Hillcrest High School community and become part of the Trojan family. I have worked in the Alvord Unified School District for the past four years and look forward to building relationships with Hillcrest students, staff, and families.

At Hillcrest, I oversee athletics, facilities, independent study, CAASPP testing, and the junior class. I am committed to supporting students, creating a positive school experience, and helping them stay focused on their academic and personal goals.

I am proud to continue serving the Hillcrest High School community, first as a teacher and now as an assistant principal. Having worked closely with Hillcrest students and staff in both roles, I value the relationships I have built and the opportunity to support students throughout their high school experience.

At Hillcrest, I oversee Saturday School, PBIS, special education, the sophomore class, English Learner support services, ELPAC testing, and State Seal of Biliteracy testing. I am committed to helping students feel supported, connected, and prepared to achieve their academic and personal goals.
