Weather Guidelines

Our athletic programs prioritize the health and safety of all student-athletes. In accordance with CIF Southern Section guidelines, we follow established protocols for extreme heat and air quality to ensure safe participation in sports.

We utilize Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) readings from the Perry Weather system, with data collected from stations located near our school sites. These real-time measurements guide our decisions regarding practice and competition modifications, delays, or cancellations when conditions pose a risk.

Our commitment is to provide a safe environment where student-athletes can compete and train while minimizing exposure to potentially harmful weather conditions.
